Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Education in South Korea
Lee Ju-Ho is a Korean economist, bureaucrat, and politician. Since November 2022, he has held the position of Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Education in South Korea. He served as the Minister of Education, Science, and Technology from 2010 to 2013, and was a member of the 17th National Assembly from 2004 to 2008. Lee Ju-Ho has held roles at the Korea Development Institute (KDI), including research fellow and professor at the KDI School of Public Policy and Management, as well as director of the Education Reform Research Center. With a broad range of advisory and research roles in many different organizations, he has consistently shown his dedication to education and policy. He earned his Ph.D. in Economics from Cornell University and holds a bachelor's degree in International Economics and a master's degree in Economics from Seoul National University.
