The 2024 Taejae Future Education Forum will be held under the theme "The Future of Education: The Disappearing and the Emerging." With the advancement of artificial intelligence, traditional methods, philosophies, practices, contexts, and environments of education are gradually disappearing, while new and innovative approaches are emerging. The form of learning is shifting from group education to personalized education, the role of educators is changing from knowledge imparters to motivators, and the learning arena is expanding from structured physical classrooms to hybrid online and offline learning. On the other hand, there are concerns about the digital divide caused by learners' inadequate adaptation to a rapidly changing society, misuse of information, and ethical issues caused by artificial intelligence technology. Therefore, the 2024 Taejae Future Education Forum aims to explore the changes in education brought about by artificial intelligence technology through the insightful perspectives of various experts, and to explore what will be lost and what will be gained in future education, as well as the new opportunities and problems we will face as a result.
