Chairman of the board, Taejae Future Consensus Institute
Dr. Doh-Yeon Kim was a professor in the Department of Material Science and Engineering and the Dean of the College of Engineering at Seoul National University. In 2008, Dr. Kim was appointed as the first Minister of Education, Science and Technology and worked for the integration of education and science and technology policies. Subsequently, he served as the President of University of Ulsan and later as the President of Pohang University of Science and Technology (POSTECH). He also contributed for the promotion of science and technology and the research and development in Korea. He worked as the President of the National Academy of Engineering of Korea and as the Chairman of the National Science and Technology Commission. Currently, he is serving the Chairman of the board for Ulsan Industry Education Foundation, and for Taejae Future Consensus Institute.
