Jaeho Yeom

President, Taejae University

He graduated from the Department of Public Administration at Korea University College of Law and earned a Ph.D. in Political Science from Stanford University in the United States. He taught public administration at Korea University since 1990 and served as its 19th president. Since 2023, he has been serving as the inaugural president of Taejae University. He has held numerous government positions, including Chairman of the Policy Advisory Committee of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and member of the Presidential Committee on Science and Technology Policy. He currently serves as Chairman of the Board of Directors of SK Corporation, a member of the Board of Trustees of Seoul National University, and Chairman of the High Council for AI Transition. He was awarded the Order of Service Merit twice, in 2013 and 2019. He has dedicated his career to pioneering innovative directions in higher education and envisioning the future of universities. As the founder of Korea’s first AI university, Taejae University, he is currently shaping a new paradigm for higher education as its first president.
