Founder and CEO of Lumis Games Inc.
Steve Ahn is the founder and CEO of Lumis Games, a company that develops educational simulation games. He earned his Ph.D. in semiconductor technology from Stanford University. After working in the semiconductor industry in Silicon Valley, Japan, and at Samsung Electronics in Korea, he founded the semiconductor startup Leadis Technology in Silicon Valley, which was listed on NASDAQ within four years. He was subsequently invited by his alma mater, KAIST, to become a founding member and professor at Startup KAIST, where he pioneered the use of simulation and gamification methods in entrepreneurship education.

Gamification in Education: Creating Learning Experiences in Climate Change
Participants directly experience a game developed for entrepreneurship education, learning how gamification can be utilized as an educational tool. Following this, the speaker and participants discuss how one of the greatest challenges of our time—climate change—can be addressed through educational games, and the speaker shares a climate change simulation game he is currently developing.
